Refund and exchange policy

We hope that the furniture and interior details we’ve made will fit perfectly and find their place in your spaces. However, if that’s not the case, you can always return or exchange the product, provided it was not a personalized order.

The exchange, return, or rectification of product defects is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania and the Resolution No. 738 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, dated 2014-07-22, “On the Approval of Retail Trade Rules.”

Return/Exchange of Quality Products

To return or exchange a quality product, it must meet the following conditions:

  1. Valid return/exchange period.

If the buyer changes their mind, a quality product can be returned to the seller without providing a reason for the return. Products can be returned within 14 days from the day you received them. If the end of the return period falls on a non-working day, it is extended to the next working day. The seller has the right to refuse to accept good-quality products listed in point 17 of the Retail Trade Rules.

The buyer can exchange a quality product for another product within 14 days from the date of receiving the product. If you wish to exchange a quality product (due to unsuitable color/size/material shade), you must inform us of your decision by email at info@mapabaldai.lt, providing a clear and unambiguous statement of your decision to withdraw from the original purchase-sale agreement. The exchange period for the product is determined according to the delivery terms indicated in the online store.

The money for the products will be refunded to the buyer within 3-5 working days from the return of the products or proof that they have been shipped. Product delivery and assembly fees will not be refunded.

Quality products assembled by the seller at the buyer’s home cannot be returned.

Quality products that have been self-assembled or attempted to be assembled cannot be returned.

Products will not be accepted for return if they have been used and/or damaged and/or have lost their commercial appearance (changes in the appearance of the product or its packaging necessary to inspect the product are not considered significant changes to the product’s appearance).

  1. Products for exchange or return must be completely intact and in their original packaging. The buyer is responsible for the proper assembly and packaging of the returned product. Products must be packaged in a way that ensures safe transportation.
  2. Provide purchase documents (VAT invoice).
  3. Deliver the products to our Mapa Baldai warehouse
  4. The seller can collect/replace a good-quality product weighing over 25 kg for a set fee of 40 EUR, at a time mutually agreed with the buyer.

Return of defective products

When an incorrect and/or defective product is received and returned/exchanged, the seller undertakes to collect such products at their own expense and replace them with equivalent suitable products. The money for the products will be refunded to the buyer within 3-5 working days from the return of the products.

Return of personalized products

Personalized products, i.e., furniture made to the buyer’s individual dimensions, cannot be returned.

In all cases of return/exchange, the buyer must first contact us at info@mapabaldai.lt or by phone at +37062112378, and only after receiving information about the return procedure from the company employee should the return be carried out via courier or the products delivered to the company’s warehouse.

The seller has the right to refuse to accept the buyer’s returned products if the buyer does not comply with the specified product return/exchange procedure.
